This holds the place as my favourite film of all time because i have loved it from such a young age. Having watched it recently i can say it is just as enjoyable. There is something very captivating about it. Its a must see for the family, the puppetry is amazing,classic works of Jim Henson. It has a slighty dark side so maybe not ideal for the younger children but in saying that i watched this very young and was completely besotted with it. anyways 80's classic right here... Don't miss out!!

A typical piece of 1980s magic and myth type of film.Jim Henson's creatures are simply great and stand the test of time well.There are Pythonesque qualities to the film and it is no surprise that Terry Jones wrote the script.A good film of its type-Bowie brilliant as the goblin king and a good first outing for Jennifer Connelly. I think kids today would watch it.Bowie's trouser leave little to the imagination!!
