Mood Piece
Dave from Galway, 08 Feb 2010
For a very long time it seems that nothing is going to happen in this movie. And then it does, and it is moving, so it's worth sticking with. The initial slowness, I think, is the director's attempt to portray what it's like to spend eternity being invisible, observing people, trying to help them but ultimately, being unable to. This is a philosophical mood piece, and you have to 'go with it' to enjoy it.
the most boring film I've ever seen

This is a film in which nothing whatsoever happens, in Black and white and in German. Unless you're a hardcore Wim Wenders fan, give it a miss.
Oh my goodness

Shame - heard how fantastic this movie was and I love European cinema, however this was the longest 90 minutes of my life.
