Buffy for Adults

I was a big fan of the original, so this was a must see. It was intelligently written, the special effects didn't overcrowd it, and the acting was good. Keeping track of who's who was quite difficult and I think rewatching the original before seeing this would have helped. Tony Curran was excellent, as was Steve Macintosh who was sadly underused. Kate Beckinsale seemed to have a leather/PVC fetish going on, and the men got their shirts off at every opportunity, and why not. Enjoyable and sexy.

I just would like to notice, that there is no russian language in this movie, despite it appears on the screen. It is hungarian language, what is not even similar. It is a unique, ancient, but constantly language. Very miraculous one! Jó szórakozást - Enjoy the movie!

I do never know what to expect with this sort of film. Disappointed this time. Too much pouting and pretension to consider it any good as a film. The story was very thin too.
