Not a must

This could have benefitted from a European scriptwriter who lacks the US hesitation to incorporate sarcasm in the dialogue. There are some good lines here but generally a disappointing remake. Especially, as the director/writer was responsible for TV's Murphy Browne. A waste of good acting talent on a shallow script which isn't half as bitchy and entertaining as the 1939 original. That says something!
Rubbish

With such a good cast, I thought this would be a really funny moving film. In fact it is without doubt one of the worst films I have ever seen. I think I laughed twice and had absolutely no empathy with, or sympathy for, any of the characters.
The women

i have to say as a girl who loves chick flicks, i found this very boring and just too typical of chick flicks, there is a great cast but the story is crap.
AVOID....
