The beginning & middle of this film are great - lots of intrigue & suspense - your constantly wondering what's going on & what could happen next but I have to say, & my boyfriend agreed, I the ending was useless!!! What was supposed to be a twist wasn't really @ all and we were just left disppointed & annoyed we wasted a saturday watching it!

Do yourself a favour and watch the original instead. This film is hysterically bad. What should have been a tense, intersting look at a clash of cultures (as it is in the original) becomes pointless and watered down in this drap hollywood remake.
Do me and yourself a favour and avoid.

When you start watching it it holds your attention and you think it's going to be brilliant. At the end though, it's a big let down and there is no conclusion except that you've wasted your time sitting in front of the TV. Warning - could lead to serious aggravation.

Remakes are always difficult to pull off and I'm afraid this one is one of the worst attempts I've seen. The original was quirky enough but was redeemed by the sense of terror towards the end. This one missed all the targets. A bit of a turkey for me.

God I should have listened to other peoples reviews, I started to watch this film and I thought it was going to be good. In the end of the day it is a waste of film, cant believe that Nicolaus Cage was involved in this joke
