Fantastic, if depressing, movie

A wonderful movie. It does not provide an answer since we don't have one. Look it up on wikipedia to see the current state of affairs.

The storytelling of this problem was quite good if a little folksy adn overly-simplistic in spots. On the positive side it does give a fairly clear outline of the problem and suggests how it might have been caused. Unfortunately it doesn't really offer any clear answers. One of the highlights of this film is the way it talks about the negative impact of pesticides in farming. They go to France to show how the government there cut the use of some pesticides but the film never discusses what happens after that. Did the bees come back after they outlawed the pesticides? You're left with the feeling that pesticides are bad, but we already knew that. I think they could have dug a little deeper with this one.
