Great Viewing Under Two Headings
Liam from Kilkenny, 11 May 2010
I saw this film when it came out first and a second viewing didn't disappoint. It gently holds your interest both with its intimate love story and with the fascinating backdrop of the Prague spring when Russia's decadence ground Chezoslovakia's new-found freedoms into the dirt. I recommend it to lovers of romance and history alike.
The Unbearable Lightness of being

Don't bother, the book was excellent but the movie fails to capture the intensity of the emotions of the charactors and looks very dated
