Springtime for Hitler & Germany!
James from Limerick, 02 Dec 2008
Theatrical impresario Max (Mostel), seriously down on his luck, ensnares meek accountant Leo (Wilder, in his film debut) in a scheme to steal all investment funds for a guaranteed box-office failure. Perfectly cast, superb premise & undated in any way.
Original and best, accept no shoddy recent cash-ins.
Best bit? So many, but I have to plump for the derranged writer's (Mars) rant about Churchill.
Fun movie

Good movie. Not quite the sense of humour that I go for so I sorta felt it drag, but decent and my parents enjoyed it.
