4.5 out of 10 Passion of the christ
Michelle from Dublin, 02 Jan 2008
Ok if your not into subtitles then dont get this film. However I thought it was really great. It actually brought me to tears and I guess it depends on what your personal feelings lie in the religious front. I would recommend if you can sit still in silence and just let the story take you,

4 out of 10 The Passion of the Christ
Tania from Roscommon, 30 May 2008
As I had been warned, it was very sad. The violence endured by Jesus was brutal and I had to look away several times. The film left me in tears as I realised how much God loves us to have his only son suffer so badly to save us from our sins so that we can have eternal life in Heaven.

3.5 out of 10 Visually stunning, but....
Brian from Dublin, 25 Apr 2012
Visually stunning but goes way overboard on the violence. Also, the Roman soldiers are so sadistic that it borders on cartoonish.

Directed by Mel Gibson (BRAVEHEART)--who funded the film himself and co-wrote the screenplay--PASSION uses flashbacks to substantiate a handful of pertinent moments in Jesus' life and teachings, such as the Sermon on the Mount and the Last Supper, as well...
