Saw this movie years ago and loved it and was dying to see it again and yes it stood up to the test of time still a brilliant movie and the acting is superb, also the musical score is fantastic

One of my favourite films of all time, it is a story of survival and the incredible journey of one man left behind in cambodia with a brilliant performance from haing s ngor

Fairly heavy going but great movie nonetheless - not a Sunday night veg movie. Very moving and harrowing movie - especially as you know it is based on fact.

This is truly a "classic"in every respect.The film is over 20 years old but still holds its own against modern films.Very intense from start to finish.
