...or just another color

This film deals with love, racism and moral values. The character of Coleman Silk is loosely based upon the late New York Times literary critic Anatole Broyard, which was an african-american man that people believed was white. Fine performances are put in by Hopkins, Kidman and Ed Harris. This film is definitely worth viewing.

Based on a book by Philip Roth I found this a most thought provoking movie and an intrigueing slant on the insidious nature of racism. Not a role I would have expected to see Anthony Hopkins in but he is a supeb actor & super in this film..

Hmm this was weird. Nicole Kidman was awful to watch. I turned it off after less than an hour.
