'The Fisher King' aims for a fantasy-wonderland feeling in its tale of how Jeff Bridges' shock-jock tries to redeem himself after one insult too many proves lethal. That fantasy feeling arrives with Robin Williams and his gang of homeless crazies. What follows will draw you in and is, at times, magical. But the movie needs to lose a half an hour. Great work from Mercedes Ruehl as Bridges' girlfriend though.
