This movie, “The China Syndrome” (1979), about a potential ecological and human disaster at a nuclear powered electricity generating plant opened in the USA on the 12th March 1979. An excellent exposé of blind corporate greed and it's potential consequences. Particularly poignant since it was released before the incident at Three Mile Island and the disaster at Chernobyl in 1986. Defintely worth seeing if you like an intelligent but exciting movie.

Great cast, wonderful performances, and the lack of crappy hollywood music telling you how to feel was a relief.
Great seventies movie.
