Enjoyable and of its time

Late 80s/early 90s comedies tended to have a special qualiy too them. They were grounded, but slightly surreal. Taking the real world and giving it just the right twist to make it humours and interesting.
This is what this movie does to Suburban life. With a good script and enjoyable character, it makes a very good movie that's just plain fun.

This is a classic film about a regular guy on his summer holidays lazing around the house and turns out to be an eventful two weeks.
