Avoid

This movie is awful.
Although based on real events, the story line has been rehashed a thousand times... and in this case it oozes with Disney cheese - the director never misses a chance to sprinkle a straightforward plot line with Saccharine.
The initial Christian undertones which guide the script are replaced by a Republican sensibility about half way through the movie. It's hard to say which is more hared to stomach. The lead character’s aspiration to be a member of the National Rifle

Enjoyable fare from Ms. Bullock and Co.

Hollywood have always had a knack of making a true life sports story into a good film that wasn't full of smaltz. The Blind Side is no different. The acting is solid all round and the storyline for the most part is enjoyable. There are some scenes that are a little too sugary but thats par for the course. I didn't expect to like this film as I am not a huge Sandra Bullock fan, but I did enjoy The Blind Side and I feel it deserves an 8/10.
A true story......

Well when it started I thought did I order the right film? by the end, I laughted, I cried, overall a very enjoyable film. I loved Sandra Bulllock's character she was an inspiration. I didn't know this was based on a true story. Yes, rent this one!!
It would make you think about your own choices in life!
A great family watch!

This is just one of those films that everyone can enjoy no matter your age. Its not a perfect film but provides light entertainment with a bit of comedy thrown in and a moral perspective. I would describe it as a feel good film as you can't help but say "aw" once you've watched it.
Lovely Family Film

Lovely film that all our family could enjoy, 3 children aged 13, 10 and 5. Big Mike is fostered by Sandra Bullock + her family and great film for family to watch who have any experience of fostering or adoption. Happy Ending, based on a true story.
