A class movie that gets it's message across

I can't really explain the movie properly.
I suppose we've all felt it, the desire to leave it all behind, find a new place, find paradise.
I like this movie, because it captures a longing we all have, but works out how this longing would work if it became a reality. All the time it keeps centred on the main characters, their experiences, their actions, a true human character driven film. The result leaves us with a message that isn't heavy handed, but nice to think about.
Great movie.

Oh my golden years...

Quite interesting depicting of travel culture. Just like DeCaprio's character, I was a global backpacker myself interacting with like minded travels in Southeast East. The movie is a bit silly at times, but it is all about finding eternal paradise, but paradise is brutal: how to deal with the realities of ageing, disease, death and hard work for money?... Well, watch the movie...
