TALK TO HER is a film about the joy of narration and about the word as a weapon against solitude, disease, death and madness..... or so the synopsis says....... I would be inclined to disagree, there's certainly very little joy here! I know that the content of the film can and does happen in our sad world but must the story really be told from the angle that we should sympathise or have compassion for the perpetrator? I was disturbed by it all, but maybe thats what the aim was! Wouldn't reall

This movie is very thought provoking and contains the usual quotient of interesting characters and dialogue that one would expect in an almodovar film. It is by far the most serious of all of his movies that I have seen so far. Very gripping.
disapointing

this is a movie which purports to challenge social mores however it fails and the anti hero just comes across as weird

Interesting but strange film - as you come to expect from Almodovar. Not as good as Volver !
