Spaced Out Movie!
Lyn from Cork, 10 Mar 2010
The pace of this movie is quite slow but reflects the aura of the times. It took a while to get used to but is very well done. Imelda Staunton, Liev Shreiber and Jonathon Groff give memorable and outstanding performances, as do many others of the cast. Ang Lee has worked his magic in a very alternative kind of film that has pathos and humour in equal measures. Well worth a watch especially if you were actually there..........
Awful

Awful rubbish. I love the music of the Woodstock era but that can't hide the fact that this is an awful movie which tanked at the box office. Nothing wrong with with the acting except for Tilda Swinton's psycho Jewish momma but there is just no plot, no plot at all. avoid avoid avoid.
Looks nice, bit...empty.
Aimee from Galway, 03 Sep 2010
I hadn't seen any trailer of this so didn't really know anything about the movie apart from it being about Woodstock.
It's very nice to look at but nothing really happens. Pretty though, and a fairly authentic festival feel.
Well worth watching

I enjoyed this one. Maybe not a lot happens, you don't see any actual Woodstock footage and it's quite slowly paced, but it is worth devoting a couple of hours to.
