war is bad

Stop-Loss is a study of the effects of the current warmongering attitude of the US on its own soldiers and their families. The story follows a few soldiers in their final days in Iraq and then after they get home and it's clear the message is that the war is all bad and it is destroying the people directly, and indirectly, involved at ground level. There's nothing new on offer and the pacing can plod but overall it was worth a look.
surprisingly very good

A film that starts with conflict and takes over as a moral dilemma, a good story and based on what young soldiers go through with different stories. For anyone that likes a story of dilemma, an excellent movie
Meh

Decent story but handled badly, comes across very much like an MTV video, no surprise as MTV were backers of the film. Could have been so much better with a bit of thought
Worth a watch

A good portrayal of the various difficulties young men face when they come home from war. Worth a watch if you enjoy serious films with a message
