Dreadful

Turned it off after 10 minutes, those minutes spent thinking 'Will this get better' & it didn't. Was conned by the ads for it. Thought it would be super. Obviously people seem to like this but there are just as many who will rent this on the basis of the good reviews & come back here & say it was rot. It's all what you're into, but I thought I'd be into it & I wasn't. Other half tried to watch it again but gave up after half hour. If you liked 300, you'll love this. If not, do not rent this!

Sin City

If you are fan of comic books with a classic film noir edge and a blacker than black sense of humour this one is for you. Some of the acting is wooden and intentionally so but in some cases (Mr Owen please stand up) he cannot even act wooden. Apart from that one small gripe this is a must see film from a must see director
Well made but Gory

Very engaging but most definately the most violent film i have ever watched. its style is spectacular, story is great, acting is pretty good ( though Bruce Willis in the begining appears a little wooden) just had no idea it was this violent. worth watching.
Good

Have to say wasn't what I expected at all, enjoyed it and found interesting the way it was filmed. Would have to watch again to fully understand the storyline though.
