excellent,fantastic,a bonafide classic.so many quotable lines and memorable scences make this the most frighting horror film ever made.jack nicholson is perfect as jack torrance and shelley duvall gives fine support as wendy torrance.danny lloyd is terrfic also, but it is kubricks brillance which also brings this film alive.a classic,heeeeeeres jonnnnnnnnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An eerie chiller from Kubrick. Powerful turns from Nicholson, Duvall and especially young Danny Lloyd. Splendid cinematography as you'd expect, and terrific tension all the way through. A minor classic.
