A slow one, beautifully filmed and with great character acting. Based in war time europe, with class differences and nationalities leading to the diference between "making it" . . . or not

If you are the type of person who likes art but not enough to study it, this is a great way to appreciate it as you learn about the person behind the creation! fabulous acting!

This was a wonderfully made film about an artist I wasn't aware of before. Great stuff and deserves all the awards it has won.
