Lots of mental and physical violence. If you get a kick out of seeing women in abusive situations I guess you might enjoy it. Otherwise run of the mill, hard to connect with the characters, goes on too long, too much repetition. OK there are violent kidnappers in South America. Who didn't know that? Apart from that, the film tells you zilch.

A different approach to Friday night on the town. It was haunting but South America as a travel destination went right down my list of places must go

This film is gripping and an interesting insight into the kidnapping culture in South America. Its definitely worth a look.
