Huh?

Having been impressed by saw 1, amused by saw 2, disgusted by saw 3, I have now been bored and confused with saw 4. This instalment brings us back in time to explain just why the big bad jigsaw became such a nasty peace of work. (Cue violins). The story makes little sense, all the charters are new (for obvious reasons), but we are still meant to feel from them from the start. Overall it just stinks of stupidity and I would have to recommend just watching the telly instead.

Saw IV

what the logic is in pursuing this sequel is I will never know. any chance the film had to produce an intriguing storyline is ruined by a continuous hum or so called ' dramatic' background music that plays from beginning to end. if the director can't generate drama and suspense with his actors and action scenes then he should have left this one in the bin.
It's still good

The story is a bit on the dodgy side but it doesn't take away from the entrtainment (just don't think about it too much). I liked this movie a lot more than I liked the third installment. Not as gory really if you exclude the opening scene.....
Thats enough of saw

I enjoyed the first three saw films but this is just too much. Bad acting, no real story and and ending that indictaes further films in the series. Please leave it before the whole thing just gets ricidulous.
More gore!

If you're watching this, or thinking about it - you've probably already seen the others and this is a lot more of the same! SFX are gorey and bloody, lots of fun!
