I loved this film as a child but I must admit I was disappointed when I saw it again, it didn't live up to the memory at all.

What's it about....
From the writers of the Superman trilogy comes 'Santa Claus The Movie'! This is the delightful story of a master toymaker who discovers a magical kingdom of elves at the North Pole where he is entrusted with special powers to become Santa Claus! There he meets Patch (Dudley Moore), an eager-to-please elf who becomes mixed up with a dastardly tycoon's plans to take over Christmas!
