Absolute tripe

Don’t be fooled by the flashy trailer, the list of stars or the special effects, this film is absolutely terrible.
The story is ridiculous and the film essentially consists of a string of poorly conceived scenes and unconvincing characters that wade through a long line of lame lines. For example, when the daughter of Athena finally meets her mother in Olympia (someone she has aspired to meet all of her life), her only response is “Hello Mom”. Aimed at young teenagers

There was nothing wrong with this film. It was watchable and looks great. But to say that my 9 year old daughter thought it was the best movie ever made, probably give you the insight into what I thought. It's like an early Harry Potter.

This one of the best kids movie I have seen in ages. Boys will really enjoy it and if they have read the book, I think they will still really enjoy it.
