Demented, in a good way

A great introduction this anime from Japan needs to be seen at least twice just to get a handle on what on earth is going on (it is clearly an influence on Inception). The plot is almost irrelevant - it has something to do with a device that allows dreams to be read - and even to come true - maybe - its never quite clear. But the animation and music are terrific and its visually quite spectacular.

If you want an awesome, slightly psychedelic animated movie with fun characters, and a quite original plotline that takes everything up to a large scale in the climax...
...look no further.
