Great story, not the movie
Alana from Donegal, 07 Jan 2009
I just want to say firstly that i haven't read the book. The movie overall was ok. I expected more from it. Holly was too bitter for the young woman in love, i couldn't beleive any emotions she was trying to show, beleive me i cry if i feel like it, but i didn't for this movie. The first 10 minutes become somehow too long , but i stick with it hoping for better. Some actors/actresses did great. Gerard Butler was wonderful. The female lead didn't do her best, which i don't think her falut it was

The worst movie ever made - watch at your peril
Monica from Dublin, 28 Mar 2011
Yes, it is true, the worst movie I've ever seen, and I've seen lots. The whole thing is appalling, the story, the acting, the accents... there are no redeeming features whatsoever. I was unfortunate enough to see it at the cinema. I should have left. But you can help yourself and DO NOT rent it!!! Nothing you rent will be worse than this. I suspect the book is as bad as the movie, but if you like the book you might like this, though only God and you would know why.

Chick Flick
Mark from Dublin, 04 Dec 2008
It is what it is apparently according to the resident expert it was originally portrayed in Dublin although it kind of kept to the story line but why they had to convert it to America just to appeal to the wider audience is a bit disapointing, Once being a good example of what they should have done with this.
PS I Love You

This was probably a great movie but I wrongly thought that because it was by Cecelia Ahern it was a chick flick. In fact it was really sad but moving. It was a lovely story but be prepared to cry. And probably not for the guys.
PS Not worth watching

I love a good girly movie now and then, something to get teary about but this isn't one. It was rubbish, a really week story and I taught the ending was ridiculous. embarrassed I put my husband trough the ordeal of watching it.
