I had heard that it was far superior to the US remake with Tom Cruise. But it looked identical to me, other than Penelope Cruz looking younger and even prettier. If anything the Protagonist was even less sympathetic than Tom Cruise. I stopped watching after the 1st third. I was already familiar with, and unimpressed by, the final plot twist.

Remade with the Cruiser almost scene for scene in 'Vanilla Sky', this is the original and is probably better. It's amost bizarre to be watching this a few years after having seen 'Vanilla Sky' so bear that in mind as this is the same movie. It's an original premise well realised and most sci-fi fans will enjoy it.
