Normally documentaries are a safe bet, but this was terrible.
This 'documentary' is based around one of the 1970's biggest heroine dealers in New York. It's very slow moving and thin with information. I had the distinct impression that the protagonist actually wrote the film. This low life is portrayed as an admirable, honourable sort of guy who gave back to the community that he exploited and ruined. It conveniently glosses over all the murders he committed.

First of all this is a documentary not a drama. it is about Nicky Barnes and how he and his assosiates made a name mainly during the 70s selling drugs in harlem and new york. mainy of the actual people involved in that buisness give there own points of view in the documentary.
