4 out of 10 Good movie
Mark from Dublin, 01 Oct 2007
Once again Renee Zellweger delivers a quality performance of bridget Jones yes you heard it this is a good movie but I couldn't help but wonder that the way she plays this character is awfuly similar to the Bridget Jones role, other than that and if I am being honest there is nothing to fault this film.

4.5 out of 10 she did it again
Siobhan from Kilkenny, 08 Aug 2007
This was a beautiful film that had you laughing and crying. Rene Zellweger was great and Ewan Mcgregor really is brilliant and both characters were completely believeable. It was great to see how such books came to be and the magic behind them.

Got tis one for my wife. She said it was a lovely movie and that our daughters really liked it as well. Except they were'nt sure about the faces that Renee keeps making. The thought she looked like Nanny Mc Phee.

Very well exicuted film. Wonderful sense of the woman behind the books and those around her. Landscape helped add authenticty to the film Miss Zelwegger very sympathic to her character.

This biopic follows Beatrix Potter's rise to being the most successful children's author of all time. Despite delighting generations of children with her books, she kept her own story locked carefully away. The film reveals how she developed her artistic and story-telling abilities from a young age and rebelled against the conventions of the time by refusing to marry for the sake of it.
