Great Sunday Evening!

I have to say I started watching this film with some fear. Unforgetable songs by actress Meryl Streep and actor Pierce Brosnan?? sounds a bit fake and phoney...Not even my musical-fan girlfriend was expecting what happened in the end. I caught myself singing along with the late 007 and Ms Prada and have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. Rent it if you dare and see if you can resist this wonderfully written film which proves that anyone with a bit of humour can sing ABBA songs.

Really good fun movie. Streep is great in a lighter role than we're used to seeing her.Great support cast in tried and trusted stalwarts such as Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan ( even if his singing leaves a lot to be desired).A really good movie to see in the winter to cheer yourself up looking at the lovely Greek island.
A real feel good movie!

Absolutely fabulous feel good movie. The cast are brilliant. The location is beautiful. The costumes are great. Meryl Streep is so fit for her age. Amanda Seyfried has a fabulous voice. I love Christine Baranski, she is very funny. Pierce Brosan isn't the best singer & it's a funny role for a former bond but he still looks hot.

The music was superb & Meryl Streep (as always) was wonderful. It came as a good surprise that she can sing so well. The cast did their best with what is a poor script. I was disappointed with the film; I expected more but it passes an hour or so but don't expect something riveting or you will be disappointed.
Fantastic Feel good

Really really great movie. Some of the singing is awful but you know that the actors are doing it for themselves. Pierce Brosnan, yummy - but can't hold a note. Get a bottle of wine, lock the door and get rid of any male company before taking this out of the box
