Live Flesh

A strange movie but very good. Bardem is great as always.
The story is too complete and rounded to be fully believeable, the filmaker seems to intrude in the story too much so that you see him telling the story rather than allowing the actors to do that job.
The atmosphere of Franco's Spain is well portrayed and you then see the change to the contemporary Spain, which tells a whole different story.
Worth watching - 4 out of 5!
Well up to Almodovar standard

Good story (though stretching plausibility), terrific ensemble acting, great cinematography, well-paced, quirky and fearless. In short, a typical Almodovar movie. Recommended.
Interesting film

I can't wholeheartedly recommend this one as it is interesting and worth watching for the lead actors, but just not a classic.

Really good film, it might sound a bit depressing but it is not at all. Well worth a look.
