A Surprise hit

I was not expectiong much from this film which meant it surprised me when I found myself being taken in by the story.
The premise is verging on reality and believable
Bradley Cooper is very well cast and I found myself routing for him throught the film which is fast paced and slick.
Ideal film if you are looking for a bit of escapism
Nothing else to do?

The book I only read half of it, its nearly a 4, if you like the book your'll like the movie. Like the book a good idea not reaching it's full potential and the movie unfortunately is not as good as the book. a man's movie (according to thjis male reviewer)

I have to say I was quite surprised I really enjoyed this movie. Action from the start, there is no lul in the storyline it is fast paced and had me gripped in the first 5 minutes.
Something different in the world of same old same old!

From the outset the writing was on the wall for this one. The plot was predictable and intermingled with a weak sub plot that didn't add to the movie at all. Watch it if there's nothing else available.
Very good, enjoyed it.

Ok, never going to be a classic. But very watchable. Decent movie.
