After finally getting to see this talked about movie i couldn't believe how bored and unimpressed i was with it. Was tempted to switch off half way through, but stayed with it out of curiosity. Not worth it.
I really don't get it!!

It was bad to start with but then my sister told me that the rape scene with the butter was actually not in the script and was a surprise to the actress!! Wouldn't have thought that about marlon Brando, disturbing!!!

Excellent movie. Great scenes. Lovely shots. Very dark and intense but wonderfully so. Worth the fuss that was made of it and still relevant and will always be as long as emotion exists in the universe.
