Korean DMZ

Two soldiers from the South befriend two from the watch house right over the border on the North. They visit them regularly until one night there's an incident leaving 3 men dead. What follows is an investigation into what happened but the movie is more interested in developing the friendship between the soldiers and the pain of a country divided than it is in working on the investigative side of things. Overall, this is a well made piece that keeps you interested from start to finish.

Brilliant

This movie, that encapsulates drama, peace during wartime, diplomacy, and crime mystery set in the aftermath of two murders on the North Korean/South Korean border, is a mastery of human characters, the tension between the two countries, suspense and cinematography. It may be a bit hard to follow, but in a way that becomes clearer as it ends and as a reflection of the truely deep movie it is. Highly recommended.

Some pretty poor acting, poor subtitles and really bad editing.
