An excellent thriller which cleverly intertwines mysteries of body and soul amidst gloomy, smalltown Iceland. When a man is found murdered Detective Erlunder and his squad begin an investigation which brings more questions than answers. Gradually the various strands are pulled together in an unsettling, quitely gripping film.

It won't make you want to go on holiday to Iceland, and the ending is rather predictable from the beginning, but this is an intersting detective story...good...but not quite great

Stunning piece, the first Icelandic film I had seen. Depressing and dark in parts but looks superb, anyone who loves cop thrillers should see this. Superb.

Hard to keep up and read some of the subtitles if your really interested in it, i wasnt, i turned it off because it was boring and depressing.
