4.5 out of 10 James and the Giant Peach
Jennifer from Donegal, 11 Oct 2009
James is an orphan who lives with his two diabolical aunts and harbours dreams of going to New York. With the help of a strange man and his magic beans James find himself doing exactly that- with a few new friends as his traveling companions. This film I think captures the magic of Dahl's story, especially Tim Burton's animation and Randy Newman's songs.Really liked it good fun.

My kids adored it, they are 11 and 7. laughed, cheered and watched it lots. it seemed very low tech to me, that's not a complaint, just an observation.
