Excellent classic romantic comedy. Lots of awkward moments. Facial expressions to die for and what a cast Spencer Tracey, Catherine Hepburn and Sidney Poitier. What more can one ask for. Really enjoyed it.

A Classic

This is a class film, smooth acting, brilliant story line and humorous with underlying messages all at the same time. Highly recommended.

What's it about....

A liberal white couple (Hepburn and Tracy, in Tracy's last appearance) put their platitudes to the test. They always taught their daughter (Houghton, Hepburn's niece) that all people are created equal, regardless of race or religion... until she unexpectedly brings home a black doctor (Poitier) and announces that they're engaged.
