2.5 out of 10 FUR

Nicole played a difficult role well in this movie.well done.Story was funny and sad too. But in general the whole thing seemed a bit pointless. Couldn't get inside her head. She manages to destroy her own family while she falls in love, out of curiosity really in the beginning, turning into a kind of pity later.I guess she thougth it was worth it, I wouldn't think so myself. All in all a strange movie, but some people like this sort of story. Not for me.

2.5 out of 10 FUR

This was a very surreal movie. I still don't know whether I liked it or not. I was very dissapointed with the ending. It didn't gel with the character. I didn't see the cast list at the beginning so I didn't know who the man upstairs was under the fur and was surprised when all was revealed. Definitely a movie to get the brain cells working.

COOL, WEIRD, DIFFERENT IN A NICE WAY. GLAD I WATCHED THIS AND DEFINATELY WILL SEE THE BRAT PACKER IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT. KINDA ELEPHANT MAN LIKE FAIRY TALE OF BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

This film is interesting and enjoyable enough but not overly exciting. It's suitably distracting for a wet wintery evening.

Beautifully shot, great looking film. Fine enough performances. Slow moving. Not for everyone.

What's it about....
Diane Arbus (Nicole Kidman) is a devoted wife and mother whose innate talents and dark obsessions are profoundly at odds with the conventional life she leads in 1958 New York. An enigmatic new neighbour, Lionel Sweeney (Robert Downey Jr.), introduces Diane to the marginalized people who help her become one of the most revered photographers of the twentieth century...
