Loved It!

I loved this film! I've since watched a few times on telly & convinced my hubby to see it too. It's a small low budget simple human story with a superb cast. You'll feel like you're watching a real group of people you know & there's nothing flashy or exciting about it. It's just a human journey-a lovely little indie ensemble film-exactly my kind of film. If you're into the quality of actors' performances & buying them as real people rather than the hype & effects, you'll adore this little film.

OK, but crap ending

A genuinly good film mainly. Takes a couple of minutes to settle in and relate to the characters, but after that it's an interesting examination of how different classes of people deal with the same basic elements of life. The characters are warm and believable, if a little bit whingy at times. Then just at the point when the viewer fully relates to the characters the film throws itself down the toilet in a disappointing ending. Definitely worth a watch, but a shame about the ending.

Jennifer still has friends

This is a decent enough movie but for me never really gets anywhere or really resolves anything. It carries you along but when the credits role you're left feeling a bit cheated. Great cast and Jennifer Aniston again tries to cast the shadow of Rachel off with an understated and depressed performance. Remembering the movie now the Friends with Money are mostly miserable and the only happy couple and smug about it - not characters you can warm to!
Meh

It was an alright film. Nothing special, I wouldn't watch it again. I did like that the characters felt like real people to me though the character I disliked most was the one played by Jennifer Aniston. It definitely ruins the movie when the main character irritates you. The ending was very disappointing altogether.
Good

I didn't think this film was nearly as bad as some of the other reviewers. I enjoyed it actually. I though is was interesing and a bit different for the most part but yes the ending was a let down. However I do think it's worth a look.
