Why

Had to say I was constantly asking the question it would seem that someone soon will be doing a film about a toilet as the constant rubbish tnat Hollywood feels is worthy of a movie and what happens in it cause that is about as good as this gets slow and quite boring in places took two bites of the cherry as I fell asleep halfway through the first bite.

Flagging Hollywood A-Lister (Craig) learns of the death of his childhood best friend back in Blighty. Haunted into hedonism by a dark secret we are to learn in the beatifully photographed flashback scenes, he journeys back to his roots, which we hope will redeem him. Slow moving no doubt, but anyone who was raised in this period will relate. Rent it.
Surprisingly good.

A washed-up actor returns home for a friends funeral and we learn what made him the way he is.
A very good film with all the actors putting in good performances. Daniel Craig is excellent as the messed-up, drug fuelled actor trying to find meaning to his life.

After seening this film I also had flashbacks of this rubbish,Daniel Craig is in it for about 30 mins at most, the rest is about his chilhood ,which is fairly boring ,but some people might find it amusing,if they grew up in the seventies

A real nostalgia trip for those over 40. The standout scene where they dance and sing to a great Roxy Music track will resonate with many people. Might make you a bit sad I daresay. Its by no means perfect but its really worth a look.
