0 out of 10 Less than adequate 4 and the silver cgi morpheus
KEITH from Dublin, 21 Dec 2007
sweet lord, i can't even remember what happened in this late tribute to morpheus, who turns up covered in silver makeup to destroy the world, while battling with some of the worst acting on screen. He was normal but is silver as he pales in comparison with any comic book adaptation,it's like they never saw xmen, or hellboy, or even neo's crack at constantine. This was dire, run, run away...the world is about to end...or something!! oh it's a giant swirly cloud that destroys the world! sweet lord

1 out of 10 Another superhero film
Alex from Dublin, 28 Dec 2007
There is always a place for cheesy movies with predictable endings and some of them are pretty good. This is not one of them. It is dull. There's nothing new and exciting, despite the fact that the main characters are superheros. The supposed romance between the 2 main characters is severely lacking in any chemistry. Watch this only if you need ideas for fancy dress or have seen all other movies available

All and all..... "meh"... that's all i can say. was a very big comic person when i was young and loved the silver surfer. He got very little air-time during this film... i wish it went into more depth about where he came from... instead of going on about some stupid wedding. But they leave it open at the end... so hope is not lost!!

4 out of 10 Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver
Caitríona from Wicklow, 01 Feb 2008
The whole family sat down and watched this together (a miracle in itself!). Fantastic special effects - fairly believable plot??? Entertaining. We re-engage with the characters from the earlier movie, which if you had watched you would know better. But this was not esssential. I think there might be another one!

2 out of 10 Dissapointing
Sean from Cork, 01 Dec 2008
Hadn't seen the first movie but thought it would be good to see this one. Some jokes in the movie were lost on me as it was obviously implrtant ot have seen the first movie to get these jokes. The movie itself opened up quite well. The second halk of the movies got a bit tiresome and I thought the ending was very weak.
