5 out of 10 A Touching Comedy
Ciarán from Dublin, 15 May 2011
I know a lot of people seem to rate this movie not just badly, but horribly. I couldn't disagree more. I loved watching this film. Steve Carell and Paul Rudd were perfect for their roles. It's very funny in some parts, and quirky in others, but there's always an underlying feeling of sympathy for Carell's character. The best advise I could give you is to forget everything you've heard about this movie, and just watch it for yourself. Some of the comedy is stupid, but if you just let yourself watch the movie without picking apart every little thing, I think you'll really enjoy it. I certainly did.

5 out of 10 A strange movie
Eleanor from Kildare, 24 Jan 2011
I really enjoyed this movie. It was off the wall crazy humour. If you like the cast then there is no surprises. There is a lot of english actors in this. Some from the IT CROWD, Little Britan. Dont expect too much and you will have a laugh.

1.5 out of 10 Like a bad airplane movie
Regina from Meath, 14 Feb 2011
You know those movies where you find yourself saying this is rubbish but you still can't turn away as some parts are so bad that they're funny... this is one of those movies.... bad yes, but Steve Carrell sometimes just makes you laugh!

5 out of 10 Laugh out Loud
Seamus from Monaghan, 13 May 2012
This is one of the few films I've seen in ages that had me roaring with laughter. It'll take about 20 minutes to get into it but it is really funny. Terrific acting and a story that's just real enough to believe, almost. Great fun !

3 out of 10 Standard Rudd
Conor from Louth, 01 Mar 2011
A remake of a quirky tale of rich people who invite idiots to dinner. Its exactly what you'd expect from any Paul Rudd film. If you liked Role Models or I Love You Man, then its safe to say you'll probably enjoy this.

What's it about....
Tim (Rudd) is a rising executive who succeeds" in finding the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Carrell), for his boss's monthly event, a so-called "dinner for idiots," which offers certain advantages to the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.
