Period drama set in 1930's girls boarding-school with all the usual boarding school conflicts. The arrival of an aristocratic Spanish girl upsets the accepted norms with all sorts of devastating results. Eva Green is fantastic as the glamorous but slightly unhinged teacher and tragedy ensues when her character becomes threatened by the Spanish girl and her unexpected response to her.

The story was not the best and a bit cliche but the acting was good from Eva green and the girls but in all honesty we did not enjoy the movie overall but like I said Eva did put in a performance and Wicklow scenery was good

The context was a bit disturbing but film well done and acting was convincing. definitely worth a watch. looks at teen girls, their relationships and also covers the darkness of mental instability.
Not my cup of tea

I found the film boring and unrewarding. Some very good actors and good parts played was not the most enjoyable film to watch. I suppose there was a truthful meaning, not my cup of tea.

Reasonably good movie, this one. Dark drama about obsession in the a girls boarding school. Eva Green is both excellent and gorgeous.
