a total chick flick but most women will identify with not being able to say no sometimes. whether it's clothes , hobby stuff, collector stuff or house stuff; even if we don't run up debts in the process. . its a lighthearted comedy but it deals with a serious enough issue - personal fdinance. its fun. and i'm not even much of an Isla Fisher fan.

Being a non-shopper, I can hardly call myself expert on the parsing of a shopaholic in Confessions of a Shopaholic. But this I can say: Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is an addict of major proportions, unable to let go of the exhilaration that shopping brings, a feeling that the world is better for her purchases.
Chick flick

I surprisingly found it better than I expected. The book drove me mad as I'm totally disciplined with spending so I wanted to shout at her all the time. However the film started off like that but then concentrated more on the romance and so was enjoyable as a fluffy chick flick
Not as bad as you would think!

OK, it’s not great but it was enjoyable...and surprisingly so in fact (not to say that it doesn’t pander to ever stereo type in the book ...even if it is a film)but for all that it was a laugh when there was nothing good on the TV

This film was selected with the 'other half' in mind. And thank god she ended the misery 30 mins into this drivel, when she declared: Turn it off! Absolute monkey crap. Even those chick flick die hards will find this dross a struggle.
