Awful.... Awful... Awful...

Truly abysmal. Zoe Saldana does a good "oh, I wish I could have a normal life" face but that's about the limit of her acting ability. Luc Besson.... did he have any say in the film? He's normally reliable enough, but not here.

What's it about....

Colombiana is a Luc Besson produced assassin flick, written by Besson and Robert Mark Kamen (writer on Transporter 3 & Taken). The story is set in Latin America and follows Zoe Saldana who plays Cataleya, a young woman who has grown up to be an assassin after witnessing the murder of her parents as a child. Turning herself into a professional killer and working for her uncle, she remains focused on her ultimate goal: to hunt down and get revenge on the mobster responsible...
