1 out of 10 Akin to Reality
Patricia from Tipperary, 22 Feb 2011
Killing, killing, blood, more killing, child-cruelty, physical suffering, emotional suffering, -difficult to know which is worse- and what? no drugs? which is the only element separating then and now. Not the movie to watch if you need to rest your mind from today's goings-on. Excellent acting as usual from Brendan Gleeson, Philip Seymour Hopkins and Rene Zellweger.

4 out of 10 Cold Mountain
Yvonne from Galway, 01 Sep 2008
This was a mountain of a film - fantastic scenery in Cold Mountain - cast were brilliant and really gave a feel of the cruelty of the Civil War and the savagery waged on one neighbour by another. Kidman and co. were very believeable in their parts in a war torn country - a love story set against sensational odds.

Kevin from Galway, 08 Mar 2008
Cant believe i didn't see this film until now, and its easy to see why it won so many Oscars. Renee is fantastic in this movie, and really deserved her award. Its a film that i would not mind watching over and over.
