failed to engage me

For once, the heavily disjointed narrative failed to work for me. What started out as an interesting premise soon got bogged down in plot histrionics, and I lost interest. The director has done far better work, I advise to look into that instead.

After the success of Ring, Ring 2 and Dark Water, this latest DVD release from Hideo Nakata, consolidates his growing reputation as one of the best directors currently working in Japan.
