I thought this movie started with such potential but went downhill fast once he designed and delighted in wearing his very spangled tights, shield outfit. Apologies if that's just keeping to the comic book format/story but it just didn't work on screen I'm afraid and after that, with a rather thin plot, a scarred ugly Nazi villain versus the amazing US of A........yawn. Cliche'

If you like Marvel films then you should check this out. It has everything you expect from it and a twist at the end you don't expect. It's one of those films that makes you wish you had super powers and could go and fight the bad guys just like Captain America.

This film lives off title alone. No great action sequences, too much star spangled banner stuff and no real interest in any of the characters. The kind of film I would normally go for but not this time.

Bit disappointed by this one seemed to be getting great reviews but doesn't really deliver. It's as if they made it simple to introduce Captain America before the avengers film.
